DIY Printed silk pochette

From this design, I used a simple paper backed jacquard silk and my inkjet printer to make a pocket square. Of course to make it color fast it has to be steamed (more on that in a later post), and hemmed.

This design was finished a year or two back. I had the concept of someone looking up through a cathedral. Recently I chose it to put on crepe de chine silk to add to my offerings at Spoonflower. Received it last week and threw it over a chair and shot a quick pic of it.

Based on fractals and fractal patterns, here is the beginning of my newest collection, a pattern I call Pear Pattern. It's based on a concept I had of late summer pears and the paintings of Cezanne.
